SPCP 2026 Conference Banquet at Zoo Atlanta

The 2026 SPCP Banquet will be held in the beautiful Carlos Ballroom at Zoo Atlanta, with exclusive access to the terrace overlooking the Zoo's African elephant habitat. Throughout the evening, guests will be able to step outside to observe the elephants as they move freely between their indoor and outdoor habitats, while enjoying one of Atlanta's most distinctive event venues. Animal viewing opportunities are subject to normal animal activities and care needs, but the elephant habitat is directly adjacent to the ballroom terrace, creating an unforgettable backdrop for the evening.

The evening begins with a reception featuring a selection of passed hors d'oeuvres before an elegant buffet dinner prepared exclusively for SPCP attendees. The menu includes roasted honey thyme chicken, braised beef short ribs with port wine reduction, fresh seasonal sides, and dessert, with vegetarian options available. A cash bar offering beer, wine, cocktails, and non-alcoholic beverages will also be available.

The cost of attending our banquet is not included in the conference fee.  Tickets for the banquet are $99/person.  Conference participants are welcome to purchase tickets for themselves, their partners, family members, and friends.  No special price or menu is available for children.

Transportation to the banquet is not included with your conference registration or banquet ticket.  The Zoo is 4.1 miles south of the hotel which is a 10-15 minute drive, depending on traffic.  Uber, Lyft and Waymo (available through the Uber app) are available.
